C10 - Shortwave mineral kit (10 specimens)

Enjoy a unique collection of 10 fluorescent mineral specimens that respond and change color under shortwave ultraviolet light.  Each specimen ranges in size from 1 to 1 1/2 inches and is labeled and bagged in their own seperate bag.  Some specimens may also change to more than one color when exposed to midwave or longwave UV light. 

Please note:  The production of shortwave UV radiation does not come from what is commonly known as a blacklight.  Longwave UV aka a blacklight does not produce the correct type of UV light for these specific rocks.  Please view our UV lamp product line for the best shortwave UV lamp that works for you.  9 out of 10 fluorescent rocks that glow will need a shortwave UV lamp to respond.
